Hey Mike,
I use a Sennheiser 441. I've found it to be excellent, in fact "better"
for harmonica than some of the premium mics like the Neumann U87, AKG 414
when I got to try those a few years ago. There's no way I'd part with it,
though, as it's so good and it took me long enough to get it!
Otherwise, I would use an Audix Fireball for live or recorded work. It's a
different mic in many ways. Some tracks on my reverbnation below use the
441.
