[Harp-L] Two harps in Canned Heat

One of the thing that surprises me when it comes to harmonica is the scarcity of bands using two or more harmonicas playing in unison or harmony. The initial learning curve of the diatonic is quite low, so it wouldn´t be that hard to teach, say, a singer to double some easy parts if you already have a harmonica in the band -- but it just isn´t done. Can´t say why. (Yeah, I´m aware of Hazmat Modine.)

Now it so happened that I saw a photo (on Youtube) of Alan W and Bob The Bear in Canned Heat, both blowing into mics. Looked like a live situation.


You who know your Canned Heat better than I, was something ever recorded with both of them? Of course Hite wasn´t much of a player compared to Wilson but it would be interesting to hear.
