Hey that sounds like a great idea. I am self taught (and consequently badly)
in German. Apart from being interested in the harmonica I am a Beetle (and
early Porsche) freak. I thought it would be cool to be able to read the
Porsche and Beetle Workshop Manuals "in the original". Unfortunately like
another contributor has pointed out, I found that "Ich kann fragen aber die
Antworten vorstehe ich nicht!" In other words I can just about ask the
questions, but I can't understand the answers. Nonetheless even my pidgin
German occasionally got me out of a hole when I spent a one year stint in
the Czech Republic.
A week in Klingenthal or Trossingen in October might let a guy get a bit of
playing and maybe a few words of Deutsch at no extra cost. I could even add
to my already excessive stock of harmonicas at the right price!
