Am I the only one who checked out Madcat's video?
What a treat, having one of the great masters show us his gear. Bet
Little Walter never did that...
A few observations
- Neat. Heavy duty interconnecting cables. No cheap stuff here.
Bulletproof power supply.
- All the low frequencies have been eliminated via the graphic. No
surprises I guess, but many setups would leave these frequencies in.
Madcat obviously feels better off without them. He's probably right.
- Just a touch of grit via the Boss pedal. A good choice again, many of
us would be tempted to use more than needed.
- It does sound mighty. I'm wondering how much use the octave box gets.
It has a great sound, but perhaps not one for a whole night. Having the
whole setup on a stand means that it can be switched in and out.
Anyone else want to tour us through their rig?
