Thinking it over i found the sentence is hard to translate. The 
original is "Wir kÃnnen alles auÃer Hochdeutsch". In german this works 
pretty well because you can use the same word for do and make, and 
do/make is even used impicitly here not literally. "We are capable of 
everything except speaking proper german" woud probably work better 
here.
