If one had the time and desire, a better deal would be to take an early model marine band and bury it in the yard. Water it with salt water. Throw away the covers as they are the dead giveaway. So, after a couple years, you can dig it up and place it in a vitrine box. Then write anything you want onto a card and put it in your curio cabinet.
