Saliva is acidic - to neutralize/clean I pour a bit
of baking soda into a large plastic beer mug - fill with warm water and 6-7 harps,
cover and shake for ~15 seconds. Dump , add plain water and shake again
Dump then shake water out of harps, let dry. Do this after every gig and you
won't have to disassemble as often
