On this day in 1915, the great blues composer Willie Dixon was born.
Easy for me to keep track of it; I'm officially an old geezer today----
it's my 65th birthday.
Mr. Dixon added quite a few tunes to the blues harmonica repertoire. I
can't imagine hearing anything but a harp on songs like: "Help Me",
"Hoochie Coochie Man", "I'm Ready", "Mellow Down Easy", "My Babe", and
"Spoonful". To name only a few.
