Funny! Yes, I've been bewildered at the Norton recording for years! He got
it done with 4 harps, and some masterful clothing rehearsal! (Belt,
armpits, and pockets) Like a magician's routine!
The display itself warrants admiration!
I had tried it (live) with the correct 4 harps wedged in my fingers at
once, but couldn't make the changes quickly enough!
My guys and gal called it in A, so I grabbed a Low C spiral playing the
relative A minor solo. Lays out wonderfully!!
And back to D harp in 2nd pos A for the Major section. (D2A)
I am confident enough this morning, that I plan to tab it and post a video
of this solo with a C Spiral.
My local pickers loved it! Most know it's an awesome solo for Norton and
Bonnie. Far fewer realize he played 4 harps. And none will get the
significance of using ONE Spiral harp!
