Re: [Harp-L] Reggae Harp

It depends on the ideas offered within the context of the music. Either technique can be used.

btw, Paul Messenger was into harmonica and reggae music back in the ol' Augusta Heritage days.

Subject: [Harp-L] Reggae Harp

Thanks to all who responded. Now, let me ask this. Do you think a harp
would fit better with reggae tongue blocking or lip purse. To my ears I
think tongue blocking is a better fit (sound) for reggae than lip pursing.
Since there isn't a whole lot of reggae music with harps it a little more
difficult for me make a sound judgement. I'm just going with what sounds
better to me...but how about the general audience? The average harp
listener/player?

thanks again, hope this isn't too exhausting!
