Yes, that's very good stuff--once you've got the FX device dialed in, you know exactly what you're going to sound like every time you play; the speaker just makes it as loud as you like. I would add that the ability to instantly make very big changes in the sound--up to and including the equivalent of replacing the entire amp and FX chain--with a single press on a footswitch is just as important, at least for players who want a bigger (or wider, if you prefer) role in the band's sound than the harmonica traditionally has played.
