If I really trust whoever's running the PA, I don't bother bringing anything but the RP. If there's a question, I would bring a powered monitor or my Peavey KB2 keyboard amp, either of which gives me a line-out that I can take to the board. Then I'm happy and the sound tech is happy.
I must add that the vast majority of the time, I just plug the RP into the PA and play.
