[Harp-L] RE: overdraw overbend overblow

OK, this may seem like a silly question to some of you, but I'm just a
guitar player and singer that plays some blues harp as well. I've been
hearing some confusing information (to me anyway) about bending notes;
overblow, overbend, draw-bend, blow-bend, etc...

Is it even possible to bend notes up? OR, is everybody just using different
terminology for draw-bends and blow-bends?

I can bend notes downward with no problem, even to the point of playing
clean chromatic scales, but I have never been able to bend notes up. Am I
missing something?

Thanks,
Pat Powers

"Overbend" is the general term for both overdraws and overblows.
"Overblows" are the overbends available on holes 1 to 6; overdraws are the
overbends available on holes 7 to 10.
