Anyone know of any harmonica tab for Chanukah songs?
I once figured out Maoz Tzur.
I'll have to check some of the Adler Trio stuff from Israel.
I know there's a band out of Quebec that does Jewish music with a
harmonica but their name escapes me at the moment.
Considering how many great harmonica players have been Jews there should
be some kind of repertoire but guys like Larry Adler played jazz and
classical and later players like Jerry Portnoy, Corky Siegel and Magic
Dick played blues and rock.
To paraphrase Tevye, if I were a rich man, I'd get all of my favorite
musicians who happen to be Jewish, have them woodshed for a couple of
weeks with Jewish musical motifs and lyrical themes, and see what results.
