At a long-ago SPAH convention, one of the attendees brought an
instrument case filled with musical saws. Each one was tuned differently.
I think Madcat Ruth was present and might remember the guy playing a mean
version of "Walking By Myself" (Jimmy Rogers). There were several harp
players joining in, including myself, and the saw was so loud that it
pretty much drowned all of us out. In fact, there were complaints from an
adjoining room that the saw was interfering with the seminar next door.
