<Richard, "some things don't come cheap". Deal with it! I hope you're not trying to cheat your way into a better deal at Mr. Powers' expense. I may <order two or three... just think how good I'll finally be!

Mr. Price:
First, if I want one of Brendan's new products, I'll buy one. It wouldn't be the first time I've paid full list price for one of Brendan's products, and as a rule I don't curry favor with vendors as a means to cheating them.

Second, given that you've spent considerable resources on promoting a different 2-harmonica approach, don't you think it appropriate to disclose that interest before you disparage an offering from a competitor?

It may eventually turn out that your system--which is obviously simpler and less expensive than Brendan's approach--is more useful to more people than Brendan's. However, it's pretty clear to me that these are very different products aimed at different buyers with different needs. Brendan's offering includes chromatic harmonicas as well as diatonics; yours doesn't. Brendan's offering uses a single mouthpiece to access both coupled instruments; yours doesn't. That's not necessarily a problem for either of you; the products do different things, that's all. More clarity about the differences, as opposed to disparaging comments about the competition, would be most useful to potential buyers.

In any case, as per my comments above, when talking about product and service offerings, it's good practice to make it clear when you have a dog in the hunt. It's an even better practice to avoid telling your potential customers that they're cheats.

Thanks, Richard Hunter
