I was just listening to the version the Doors did of this tune with John Lee Hooker plus Lonnie Mack on bass, and Sebastian is certainly playing through an amped rig on that version.

Pretty hot all the way around. The harp sounds right, of course. The amped up tone works well, and it probably is a small Fender tube amp.
