[Harp-L] Harmonica Classes In Philadelphia PA

Hi Fellow Harmonica Enthusiasts -
My name is Seth Holzman. I will be teaching four harmonica classes at night in Philadelphia PA beginning very soon (Monday April 21 and Tuesday April 22).
I am a long-time subscriber who has been reading everyone's posts to Harp-L for many years. Although I have rarely posted to harp-l, I nonetheless value everyone's queries, comments, and announcements. I've been playing harmonica since 1965, teaching private lessons since the early '70's and teaching harmonica classes since 1975 (in Cambridge & Boston, MA; Syracuse, NY; NYC, NY; and in the Philadelphia PA area). I have a BA in Music (Syracuse Univ.) and have sat in with Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, Magic Slim, Dave "Honeyboy" Edwards, Roomful of Blues and others. I have done gigs with Ronnie Earl, John Mooney and others. I currently perform in the Philadelphia area with several bands, sometimes using the name Zep Harpo or The Rocket.
I am going to be teaching several 8-week harmonica classes at the Philadelphia Folksong Society building on Emlen Street (in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia PA) very soon. (These classes are for adults):
On Monday nights April 21 though June 16 (no class on May 26) - Beginning Harmonica from 6:30 to 7:45 PM, and Blues Harmonica 1 from 8:00 to 9:15 PM.
On Tuesday nights April 22 though June 10 - Blues Harmonica 2 from 6:30 to 7:45 PM, and Advanced Blues Harmonica from 8:00 to 9:15 PM.

The Beginning Harmonica class is for people who have never played harmonica before or people who have messed around with the harmonica but who now want to get serious about learning some simple harmonica songs and basic techniques, and some beginning blues harmonica.
The Blues Harmonica 1 class is for people who have taken a Beginning Harmonica class with me or who have similar skills and knowledge and who want to play some real blues harmonica.
The Blues Harmonica 2 (the next level after Blues Harmonica 1) class is for people who have taken my Blues Harmonica 1 class or who have similar skills and knowledge.
The Advanced Blues Harmonica class is an intermediate/advanced blues harmonica class. Here is the course description:

Advanced Blues Harmonica

Perhaps you've taken several blues harmonica classes and/or you've been playing for some time, and you are now ready to dig into the most rewarding yet challenging blues harmonica playing. Textbook fee $8.00. Optional: record the class with a digital recorder, tape recorder, etc. Bring a 10 hole key of C major harp and all your other harps too.
