Nobody gets a Grammy in any given year without releasing a record in that year. Grammys are not given retrospectively. Jay's website (http://www.jaygaunt.com/discography) shows that his most recent record was released in 2010, so he's not getting a Grammy nomination until he releases another (if then).
So hurry up Jay and get a new disk out there...
