Re: [Harp-L] Back.2 Basics

Great topic. I am a big fan of the RP series, but I think, as always, it
comes down to personal preference. Any one person that says with certainty
that either an amp or a pedal is superior to the other is a jackass.

If it sounds good to you, if you like it..that's all that matters.
I'm sure when Snooky Pryor or that other fella...the Little Walter, plugged
in to an amp there were "traditionalist" harp players talking about how
that ain't right. etc...

Richard Hunter has an EXCELLENT set of patches for the RP series and like
many other pedal users I have been approached after a gig asking what kind
of amp I use, and how do I set up my tubes for that tone, etc...
It's apples and oranges really, but personal preference is the answer to it
all.
Simply, I got tired of lugging around a Bassman that can really only sound
like a Bassman. With my RP350 I have a Bassman, a Rotary Bassman, and
friggin space lasers....how cool is that?
