Not sure how many here remember Geoff Atkins who lived in South Africa and
posted for some time here on Harp-l. A very intelligent writer and
harmonica player.
I've been off facebook for a very long while and only just logged back on
tonight to find out that Geoff passed away on July 1st of this year. He'd
lost his beloved wife of 43 years Liisa a year and a half before and was
still in deep mourning for her at the time of his own death.
He corresponded with many of us here and will be sorely missed. He was an
absolutely lovely gentleman with a brilliant mind. His facebook page is
still up with many of his posts and photos for those who might wish to connect
with his family.
RIP, my friend.
Elizabeth
