Re: [Harp-L] tilting the harp
Tilting up is also good if you tend to be a wet player. Not as much
saliva to clog up a note at the wrong time.
Plus you can drink a beer and smoke a cigarette at the same time.

top lip should actually extend over the top of the harmonica, so it
doesn't matter if thee is a slight point or not.
Remember, we are moving away from that straight on pucker approach.

Just wondering if the shape of the top lip has anything to do with
this. Most folks top lip has a slight point down in the center. My top
lip has the opposite; no point down. When I relax my lips there is a
natural hole there. I dont tilt, never have. Maybe I should try?

Im in this camp as well. I struggled fit years not able to play
single notes until one day I tried tilting the harp and it was like
magic. I suddenly could play single notes.
Now my best breath control and tone is absurd went I tilt the harp.
For me I notice a difference from low to high end. I use a little
less tilt on low notes and more tilt on high.

I suppose this is another one of those....works for me, or not issues.
I happen to agree with Iceman and believe I achieve (my ) best tone
with a tip up when pursing.
