(Hello from Dundee!)

Here are some of the trad(-ish) tunes I like playing -- I'm mostly a
tremolo player but most will adapt fine to diatonic. They should all be
findable on thesession.org or folktunefinder.com.

Slow airs, etc.:
  Farewell to Nigg
  Loch Tay Boat Song
Si Beag Si Mor / Ashokan Farewell

Marches (pipe tunes tend to work well):
  Lochinside
Father John Macmillan of Barra / Miss HL Macdonald
  Johnny Cope / Sandy Spence
Campbell's Farewell / Barren Rocks of Aden

Jigs:
Dominic McGowan / The Kesh / Garrett Barry's (3rd/1st/2nd pos diatonic)
  Rory Gallagher

Strathspeys:
  Calum's Road
Laird o' Drumblair (a fiddle tune but the runs work well)
  Miller of Drone
  Inverness Gathering

Reels:
  Miss Jean Milligan
  Ward's Brae
  Breakdown

All of these will benefit from some kind of chordal or drone backing --
a loop pedal or shruti box might be worth experimenting with.

For more ideas, have a look at the kind of sets Donald Black or Jim
Malcolm play. There's also the Scots Moothie Group's list:

Thanks,
