Richard,Funny, I was just browsing your web site regarding the chorus/rotary/mic comparison. I vote for the Fireball with rotary speaker model... You are very kind. Well, since it's "out there", maybe some folks would like to share their worst moment on stage and how they handled it. Or maybe I should brows the harp-l archives for most embarrassing moments while playing harmonica in a live performance.BW

Mid-set, I just lit out for the bathroom, it was in use so I ran outside, pulled down my pants right under the marquis where my truck was parked, pulled out my pocket knife and cut off my underwear and slung it and it hung on a peg under the marquis for 6 months. OK TMI. But it's true! I returned to finish the gig. It was a little hillbilly bar in Hickman county, TN. Must have been the moonshine while trying to overblow (harp content). Man, I am infamous there to this day (in a funny kind of way).

Whether it's having a brain fart and blanking on some tune you've played a million times or getting up with a band that's tuned a half step down and forgets to tell you and gives you the original key. wasted band members getting in arguments onstage. Drunk women hanging on you, while their jealous boyfriends ,who look like they were thrown out of a bike gang for excessive cruelty, glare at you. The biggest thing is to keep going. I always tell newbie musicians that, Most of the audience is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm.
