[Harp-L] harps for trade or sale

I have been going through my harps to better assemble a good playable set with some spares. As a result, I have some harps I would very much like to either sell or trade.

1. A Seydel 1847, steel reeds, key of A... Same as new, just barely played enough for me to decide I don't care for the steel reeds. Make a reasonable offer.

2. A Seydel Session Steel, low F. This harp was reworked by Dave Payne and has not been played more than a minute or two. Again, I am just going to go back to my Special 20s, where I am most comfortable. Make a reasonable offer.

3. A Powerbender, Suzuki Harpmaster.. this is Brendan Powers early version of this harp and I might be able to find the material that came with it. I think I paid around $100 for this, and then they came out with much better pricing, as I remember. Again, a reasonable offer.

I am willing to also trade if someone has Special 20s they would part with.
I just got a set of reedplates from Rockin' Rons and I can't believe how good the newer harps play in comparision to older. I had an older SP20 sitting around as a spare, never been played. I spent a lot of time on it, embossing, gapping, swearing, and I couldn't get it to play to my satisfaction. Slapped on the new reedplates and its way better without any work at all. (anybody want a set of really crappy C reedplates?).

My legitimate harp content here is that I recently attended Jon Gindick's camp in Clarksdale, Miss. and I am motivated again to try and improve my feeble chops.

Steve in Minn. where the forecast is for possible snow by morning.
