For me, it was Little Walter, My Baby. 56 seconds in, I was hooked, and it
was at that moment that I knew I'd be playing harmonica for the rest of my
life. I was in 8th grade.
My high school has a cool tradition where in order to graduate, every
student has to carve a 1 foot square mahogany panel. It is your gift to the
school, and it hangs on the walls for all of eternity. Mine was an easy
choice; I made it of a Marine Band and a JT-30 resting on the My Babe
record. They recently put them all online, and here's mine:
