"Playing the Thing is a 1972 documentary made by Christopher Morphet.
Originally broadcast on the BBC in the '70s, this film was made as a
tribute to Harmonica and a salute to all the harmonica players around the
world. This film had been shown around the world and had received critical
acclaim. Appearing in the film, among others, are Larry Adler, John
Sebastian Jr., Sonny Terry, ABC Trio from Hungary, Andy Paskas, Brian
Chaplin, Duster Bennett, Günter Wertz and Cham-Ber Huang.

After its original airing in the '70s, a DVD was produced several years ago
from the master tapes preserved by Gautam Choudhury, who was involved in
the production, had kept it in his attic and later donated to the National
Harmonica League in the UK. I decided to upload it here to preserve it and
let other harmonica players around the world enjoy this wonderful harmonica
documentary."

sharing this very important documentary with all of us around the world!
