An outstanding introduction to chugging sounds and how to apply them.

"Chugger's Manual for 48 CHORD HARMONICA", Al Smith

Although written specifically for the 48 chord harmonica, there is a wealth of information on rhythmic sounds (chugs) that are directly applicable to diatonic harp playing.
