Re: [Harp-L] Why Musicians Hate Harp Players

Warren,
I am in total agreement. I never cared at all about harp players getting
respect or not. I just love to play music, mostly on harp.

I have had some funny experiences telling people that I was a pro harp
player and watching their minds try to wrap around the concept. Imagine me
at my wife's high school reunion in Lake Jackson, TX.

I have been hired by bandleaders only to watch their sideman wig out at the
thought of splitting their money with a fourth man. I think it would have
been the same with a guitarist though.
