Re: [Harp-L] Single mic vocal + harp setup?

You might consider running your 58 through a tube mic preamp before it hits your PA. I myself have an ART Tube MP Studio. It has very adjustable levels of input gain and output volume, as well as an output limiter. But it also has a +20dB gain boost switch on it. You could set your normal volume for your vocal and harp harmonies, and then when it's time for your lead harp, set the output limiter so it doesn't go nuts, and turn on your gain boost. Should give you some very warm tone.

Actually, for the purposes you're describing, perhaps the newer Tube MP Studio V3 might be a better match. It has specified voicing settings for vocals and instruments.
