Thank you Vern for this great information.  What is you source of power and how much current do you use?

I would think this technique only works on brass/bronze reeds and not on stainless steel reeds.  Will it work on "silver" reed plates?

The soldering operation is extremely quick and easy.  The alignment of the reed in the slot must be carefully done.
