I need to vent! I do not know why the pucker I so hard for me when playing by tabs. U blocking came easy. I think I need to be able to do both. The only thing I know to do..... Practice!
Any other advice?
What is it that you could do with a pucker embouchure that you can't do with the embouchure with which you are comfortable?

I favor simplicity for myself. The less I have to learn, the more I can focus on perfecting those few skills I really need. I have heard the arguments for being able to do pucker as well as blocking, but they just aren't for me. For example, I was told to use pucker when I want to do rapid articulation, but I can do rapid articulation, even double and triple tonguing using blocking.
