[Harp-L] RE: Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder

Coincidentally, NPR did an interview with Taj last week and they played a cut from the Rising Sons only album, which wasn't released until many years after their demise.  The band was only together briefly, when Ry, Taj, and the others were pretty young. But Wolfgang's Vault used to have some of their live Ash Grove performances available for streaming, not sure if that stuff is still available. Could have been the same dates as the flyer. Harp content: Taj was playing amplified harp with the band, and if I remember correctly he was using a tweed champ at the time.  Probably there's a Wiki entry for the group and also something in their individual bios.
