[Harp-L] Re: cheap harmonica

I have always enjoyed the Huang Silvertone and so I did a web search to see if it was still available. I don't need any. But I was curious. I always used the nickel-plated(?) version but now I see it is also available in an antique  bronze (aka old color). 


No doubt, the antique bronze cover provides a rich, antique sound. I never thought of them as cheap, they were priced like the low end Hohners and I liked them better than the Marine Bands I had at the time. 


Prices ranged from $8 to 18 for the same harp!? If you pay more for it, you get more for your money.
