Re: [Harp-L] Pocket Full of Soul - Don't assume it will show where it says

This is an interesting concept, but it seems to me like PFOS is asking so many other people to do their work for them. Kinda like a direct marketing campaign with no payoff for those who get involved (aside from seeing the movie, that is).

I like the idea of a direct to video with the ability to rent or watch through Netflix.

The URl http://www.tugg.com/titles/pocket-full-of-soul?location=global&state=upcoming,
is to the "Tugg" service. IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT THE FILM WILL SHOW in the
cities mentioned. Here's the deal. If enough tickets are bought they will show
the film. If not, everyone's money is refunded. You will be shown how many MORE
tickets need to be sold in order to actually bring the film there. For example,
I bought 2 tickets to the show at the Summerfield Cinema in Santa Rosa, CA on
2/28. AFTER PURCHASE I was told "we need 62 more RSVP's. The deadline is
February 21st 11:30 AM."

If you're in Northern Calif I urge you to buy a ticket to the show in Santa
Rosa. We'll have ourselves a regular harp love fest and lobby jam!

Please tell all your harpin' friends to BUY A TICKET!

Jeff:
Thanks for the email. No, that is not it. I believe there are going to be
about 50 screenings in the US on 2/28 across the country from NY to LA. The
screening locations will show up at Tugg.com. Just search for the film. Tugg
coordinates with the theater and is in charge of tickets, etc. They will be
adding more locations for screenings to their website as they are confirmed. I
do believe there is an Atlanta screening, but to be sure, you can always request
a screening atTugg.com. There is some effort in coordinating the screening on
the front end, but if you have questions or interest, I will gladly discuss with
you on the phone.
Todd
