Re: [Harp-L] Suzuki Firebreath
I like my Firebreath in the key of G. Plays great and overblows 1,4,5, and
6. The Firebreath compares for playability with other Suzuki Harmonicas such
as the Hammond, Promaster, even a stock Bluesmaster, or a Bluesmaster with a
Promaster plate. As first the rosewood comb sort of had a taste that
dissipated over time. They are beautiful.
I'm beginning to think that, covers, combs, etc., don't matter much. Leaky
matters, gap setting matters, and I seem to be developing a a preference for
flush covers (Golden Melody, Promaster, Hammond, Bluesmaster) versus Marine
Band style (Manji, Solist, 1847,. Bushman, Special 20)

Great harps, kind of expensive but very well built and attractive. they
feel 'small' in my hands though after playing golden melodies, try one
to make sure the form factor is good for you (you can get used to
anything with enough practice though).

Hey good people. I've played them all but I'm thinking about
some Suzuki Firebreaths. All opinions welcome.
