[Harp-L] RE: Kaplan: "Lucky Bounce"

I skyped with Dan several months ago, and I asked about this kind of stuff. I believe he never (or almost never) uses alternative tuned harmonicas. He's just an amazingly good harmonica player with perfect bends. BTW, he tongue-blocks everything, and does not play "amped". You might try e-miling him (check is website paperharmonica.com for his e-mail). He's a very very nice guy and will likely e-mail you back with some tips....

Cheers,

~Isaac

Trying
to learn Dan Kaplan's "Lucky Bounce." I'm fairly new at diagnosing harp
and song keys. Is Kaplan playing an ordinary-tuned G harp over an A
minor tune - slant harp?

First-time poster. Be gentle.
