The Route 66 Harmonica Club is promoting Pocket Full of Soul at the Circle Cinema in Tulsa on Thursday, Feb. 28th.  We still need about 25 more RSVPs to ensure a screening of this award winning documentary in our city.  Please buy your tickets now and spread the word. The film is a kickoff event for the 4th Tulsa Harmonica Summit at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Saturday, March 2.  The Harmonica Summit will feature harmonica workshops for kids and adults throughout the day, with evening performances by some of the best harmonica players in the world. Performing this year are Billy Gibson from Memphis, John Long from Missouri, RJ Mischo from Arkansas, and Cheryl Arena and Hash Brown from Dallas. All performers are nationally recognized harmonica educators and will be on hand throughout the day for educational programs. Also included are a workshop on vintage harmonica amplifiers by Jon Popper of Eureka Springs, AR and a workshop on custom harmonics mics with Dennis O., aka Mr. Microphone from Kansas City.  Come enjoy this celebration of the humble harmonica. Everyone is welcome! Presented by the Route 66 Harmonica Club and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.
