I bought a diatonic Hohner Pocket Pal (about 6 US dollars) with which I
have been learning to gap reeds. After a couple hours of tinkering I got
the reeds to respond much better. But these things leak a lot! There are
big spaces between reeds and reed plates especially at the ends of some of
the reeds. So I thought I would try my hand at embossing too. I don't have
a good embossing tool yet so I tried using a penny. I was not able to close
the space near the ends of the reeds much. Did I mention that there's a big
space there?! Big.
So how do you emboss to close such big space?
