Alto sax on most tunes. It was a great sound, truly a signature for the band. Lee Oskar's tone was considerably cleaner than the usual amped-up harp, and very prominent in the mix. And man that band could play. I saw them three nights in a row in a club in Boulder Colorado in September 1971; they played the same set of songs, with different arrangements, every night, and the grooves were ten miles deep. Crazy good.
