I bought some Weber Copper Cap (solid state) rectifiers as backups for when
my rectifier tubes go bad. I see now that AMT electronics is making the
same sort of thing in 12AX7, 6L6, and EL34 tube sets. I like the Copper Cap
rectifier, and would love to try out the AMT tubes to see if they perform
similarly. It'd be great to have a set of those in your amp as backups in
case a tube goes out...
