Apparently I have mildly overactive salivary glands (not unlike a St. 
Bernard).
There some things which trigger a longer response, beer for example, sweet 
things, starchy carbs all cause a response after they are swallowed.
hard liquor OTOH has little or no digestive response.
So keeping this in mind, i'm less likely to drown in my own spit.
