I've seen (heard) Richard Sleigh do it before w/o the re-tuned reed, in fact while sitting w/ Jimmy Conway.

About five years ago James Conway was droning on retuned holes 1 and 2, blow and draw.ï You have a different technique that will work on "any" harmonica, which is quite a feat. And versatile. Bravo
