Tom, thanks for the clarifications. So Butter used definately used a pistol grip 545S and PE54. Were the PE54's that Butter used
pistol grips with switch? Curiously, I couldn't find any PE54's on the Shure website. By now u probably saw the pictures Rob P sent,
which included a pistol grip PE54 that he got from you. It has a switch but no "S" in the model designation.
If the PE54 sounds "fatter/thicker, with much stronger bass response and a bit less treble on the high end than the 545",
then why is the 545 your favorite mic?
