I use a Kalamazoo, that I purchased from Gregg Heumann. Only 5 wts. I mic it through our P.A. Really great tone. Gregg restores them. Well worth it, and not too expensive.

I think that depends on your price range. There are lots of harp-specific tube amps out there in low-wattage versions but they tend to be pricey. I've played with the VHT Special 6 and it's all it's cracked up to be on this forum. Very solid tone right out of the box, and reasonably priced. I passed on it, though, because I have an early-to-mid-60s Supro 16T that is absolutely awesome at about 4 watts. I haven't found anything in a small wattage amp that I like better.

Hi all,
my apologies to ask another 'best amp' question! But you know how us harp players are obsessed with the topic :-)
I'm planning to buy a small tube amp for blues playing. This will be used for gigging in small to medium sized venues, so it doesn't need to be too loud. I want the distortion to come in at as low a volume as possible.
An added bonus would be a good clean channel as well, but I can live with just a blues sound.
I'm considering the Fender Pro Junior.
Any other suggestions / advice most appreciated.
