Re: [Harp-L] What's the best program to slow down songs

Brothers & Sisters of Harp,

Windows Media Player has a Play Speed Setting control that allows you to slow down the speed and retain the pitch. Click the small arrowhead underneath NOW PLAYING and go to the ENHANCEMENTS pull-down for Play Speed Settings. A task bar will appear. Adjust!

You can use Audacity to do the same thing. It's completely free.

I use Chronotron, which is a plug-in for WinAmp most people use Amazing Slowdowner, I think they're both not free though (but worth the money)

I'm curious if someone knows a free program

Can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap (free?) tool to slow down
a song without changing the pitch?
Cheers
