Re: [Harp-L] Re: Three questions to the experienced busker
Wow Tony, loved your Big Sciota. Smooth!
I'm working on fiddletunes myself and know how hard it is (did you hear the
3 tunes I uploaded on youtube by any chance?)
Keeping the timing & breating right is definitely not as easy as it sounds.
Hey man, you've got the busking business really worked out and thought
trough. Nice, and full of advice (hey that rhymes :-))
Thanks for the clip(s)

Oh, looking at your clip reminded me of something, although there's a risk
of theft, we never stood too close to the open guitarcase or the 'hat'. For
some weird reason, depending on the spot of course, people are afraid to
walk towards the musician. Is it the 'drawing the attention to themselves at
that moment' or is it they're afraid of the open space or are they just
afraid of the artist? ;-)

Subject: [Harp-L] Re: Three questions to the experienced busker
I've been busking about once a week for the last 15 years. partly for
money, more for practice. My repertoire, mostly fast fiddle tunes, needs
constant upkeep. Otherwise I lose it. Busking gives me the practice I
need.
Below are two articles outlining my approach:
