I think Tom Halchak presents a very balanced view of the current and future
situation for triple-reed harps, of which the stock Suzuki SUB30 UltraBend
is just the first model. If you look at the history of innovative designs in
any field, there is generally quick improvement from the first commercial
model in the market.

 

Custom versions will soon come out that address a lot of the concerns, and
prices will come down over time. As more and more players try the
triple-reed design and get addicted to its extra bending ability, it will
gain momentum and market share - of that I'm absolutely sure.
