Re: [Harp-L] Weekend Harmonica Retreat Question

Talk to Jim Rumbaugh of the Huntington Harmonica Club, they did a weekend retreat called Harmonicollege in a similar environment. It was a rousing success. I think the cost for Harmonicollege was about that. I don't know who got paid cash and who didn't. They comped me, I went there free, and I repaired harmonicas all day, but I got to enjoy the evening activities. I was very happy with that arrangement. I had a blast. God only knows how many 6 and 7 blow gaps I opened that day.

Subject: [Harp-L] Weekend Harmonica Retreat Question

What is a reasonable price to pay folks for two 6 hour workshops per day
including accomms and food. $400? We are serving organic food and fare from
our farm to boot.

Also what do you think is a fair price to pay instructors? One instructor
won the world championships in Trossingen.

Any suggestions?

Kevin
