If the reedplates are a couple of years old, that was an issue with quite a 
few harps.  The first thing I'd do is see if it still squeals when you bend 
it to pitch.  Hopefully, it only happens when you bend it too flat.

Then I would talk to Hohner about what they would do for you.

If they won't help find a solution, then I'd do what Matthew said to 
try...If you are handy with harps, I'd just go ahead and move towards 
removing the reed and replacing it with a different one and/or screw...that 
is after talking to Hohner and trouble shooting as suggested above.
